PWBA National Tour season continues in Colorado this week
GREELEY, Colo. – The Professional Women’s Bowling Association National Tour heads to Highland Park Lanes in Greeley, Colorado, this week for the second stop of the season with the PWBA Northern Colorado Open.
Highland Park Lanes previously hosted PWBA Regional Tour events in 2023 and 2024, but this week will mark the venue’s first time hosting a PWBA National Tour event since the tour’s 2015 relaunch.
The action starts Thursday with the pre-tournament qualifier at noon Eastern, where 10 bowlers will advance from the PTQ to the main tournament field of 75 bowlers. Those athletes will have their practice session later that same day at 5 p.m. Eastern. After the practice session, a Bowl with the Pros event will take place at 8 p.m. Eastern, allowing the local community to bowl alongside their favorite professionals in a fun environment.
Qualifying for the Northern Colorado Open begins Friday at noon Eastern for the first of four six-game qualifying rounds. Round 2 also will take place on Friday beginning at 7 p.m. Eastern. After the first two rounds, the field will be cut to the top third for another six-game round Saturday at 11 a.m. Eastern.
An additional cut will be made to the top 12 for a final qualifying round at 4 p.m. Eastern Saturday with the top five athletes advancing to the stepladder finals, which are scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. Eastern. The bowler who emerges victorious will earn a PWBA Tour title and the event’s $18,000 top prize. The entirety of the PWBA Northern Colorado Open will be streamed live on BowlTV.
Malaysia’s Sin Li Jane ran the ladder in Rockford, Illinois, last week to win the first title of the 2026 season and looks to continue her winning ways in Colorado. Reigning PWBA Rookie of the Year Gillian Lim, also of Malaysia, will make her season debut this week while PWBA Hall of Famer Tish Johnson of nearby Colorado Springs, Colorado, is scheduled to bowl as well.
